Refreshments at Easterford
When the seven got back to the river Easter, Terry took out his magical pocket watch for help, the lucky hand was green and pointing up the river Easter again. They set off walking as fast as possible, Norman and NeeNee led the way again but with Dork just behind, Terry and Weed followed close behind finally, Nicky walked alongside Geewhizz and were chartering away to each other.
Geewhizz was asking Nicky how they were doing for tea, "we have just about run out" said Nicky forlornly shaking the large but almost empty flask. "We really needed some hot water to make more tea" she went on. "Neenee and I have a relation called Scotty, who lives under the next bridge on the river" said Geewhizz, "if we are really lucky, he will be at home and we will be able to stop for fresh tea and also maybe refill your magic flask". "It's not magic" said Nicky, "it is to us" replied Geewhizz.
Terry was surprised as he glanced at his magical pocket watch, to see the pointer turn red and point to RELAX, this confused Terry, as it was very important to retrieve The Friendly Troll Book of Secrets but the magical pocket watch was usually right. So as they approached the outskirts Easterford and Scotty's bridge, Terry called Neenee forward and asked her, if she would go ahead to see if Scotty was home and if he was, could she possibly ask him for tea. Terry knew that if Scotty was home, then of course he would supply them with tea, after all Scotty was a Friendly Troll and they were not called Friendly Trolls for nothing.
Neenee stopped outside Scotty's home and simply said "are you in there Scotty"? "No" came the reply from the other side of the bridge, "I an over here Neenee" said Scotty. Neenee walked under the bridge and gave Scotty a big hug, "what are you doing here" he said, "get some tea ready for us and and I will tell you all about it" replied Neenee. "Is Geewhizz with you" asked Scotty, "yes and another four friends" said Neenee.
As they all sat drinking hot sweet tea, Scotty listened to the story, nodding from time to time. When he had all the facts, he had to agree that Ralphy and his friend Timbo, where bad Trolls, not just unfriendly, miserable and grumpy, like other Waterfall Trolls. He knew Ralphy and Timbo and usually avoided then at all cost but on second thoughts, he thought they were probably not all bad, they were probably a bit more stupid with a poor sense of judgment.
Scotty had not seen Ralphy and Timbo come this way today though and he had been outside all afternoon, Terry took out his magical pocket watch and checked, the lucky hand was green and still pointing up the river Easter. What none of them knew was, that by going the look for Harry the Forest Gnome first, Ralphy and Timbo had bypassed Easterford and were already on the other side of Easterford, approaching the waterfall where Dotty the wise old Waterfall Troll lived.
With the tea situation sorted the seven set off for waterfall where Dotty the wise old Waterfall Troll lived. Scotty had agreed to guide them through Easterford following the river Easter, avoiding wherever possible the people who lived there.
